Emperor Zurg is one of the antagonists of Toy Story 2 and the main antagonist of the show Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He is also set to make an appearance in Disney Infinity. He appears in Super Smash Bros IV as a boss in Story Mode and Boss Battles Mode.

The Evil Emperor Zurg is the main antagonist in the series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and is constantly thwarted by the likes of Team Lightyear and the galactic forces of Good. He resides on Planet Z, has a massive army of various robot models, and is considered the scariest villain in the galaxy; so scary that all the other lesser thugs, hitmen, criminal masterminds fear him. He wears purple robing and battle armour, equipped with rocket boots, shifting gauntlets and has been known to shoot lasers from his eyes. Zurg's backstory is a mystery but it is no secret that he absolutely despises Buzz Lightyear and all that he stands for.

Role in Story ModeEdit

Zurg serves as one of the main antagonists in Story Mode to represent Disney Infinity. He runs a gang of enemies of the team, including Randall Boggs, who later joins the team. He supposedly is in an alliance with Ganon due to their similarities.

Abilities in BattleEdit

Zurg Infinity

Zurg will hover up in the air so it is only possible to reach him by jumping. He will attack from below by shooting lasers from his eyes and firing constant rounds from his gun which will explode in contact with the ground, harming the player if they are too close to the them. When Zurg's health reaches 50%, he will start performing new attacks, which including changing the side of the battlefield he is on by zooming down at the player and swiping at them, and keeping the lasers from his eyes sustained and moving them across the screen. These attacks can only be avoided by blocking and dodging. When his health reaches 25%, he will perform faster attacks and an "ultimate attack" which involves him spinning around while firing his gun, spreading energy blasts and explosions all over the place, which forces the player to keep jumping and dodging at the same time.
